Texas needs a drink

Went outside last night when I got home from work. Saw two of my trees chasing the dog around the yard! ! ! After two months without a drop, things are getting desparate. They are calling for rain during the next few days. Let's all hope we get it.

Texas needs more than a drink,for you folks have it rough down there.
I do hope when mother nature decide to move a low pressue in,it won't be for a day with heavy rains,but more like a week w/ light soaking rain.

The last time I did a rain dance for Texas was early spring and you folks were flooded,so I won't do that again./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

At least the temps should be lower today.

We have had enough dry spell to have a state wide burn ban in place for the last couple of months. Then WAM! 2.5 inches recorded just 10 minutes up the rode yesterday. All the puddles are full this morning. It was so loud on the roof last night. Hope you get much of the gentle soaking so as not to cause flash flooding.

A slow soaking rain that lasted a couple of days would certainly be first choice, but like I said, right now I'd take anything I could get. I notice your hobbies says "chasing horses and road apples." What's a "road apple"?
