Bird, considering how long it took to just get enough right of way to complete Central Expressway through Highland Park and finally end up drilling a tunnel, my guess is the TCC35 project would be ready to break ground a few days into the next millenium. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif We'll have a chance of using a Star Trek transporter beam before they'll get that highway done. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Yep, Jim, I think you're right. I don't expect to ever see that road. In fact, I'll be surprised if they finish widening I-35E from Lewisville to Denton in my lifetime.

Jim and Bird, The State will give a renewable 50 year lease of the land up to (1200 feet) to the company that develops the tollway. Countries are lining up and ready to sink billions for the lucrative deal of the use of land AND the toll money. At the Public meeting I went to last year they were going to start buying out people this year. I think this has been delayed till 2007. This fast move might blindside many people.

The toll overpass TEXAS 130, over 290 is making quick progress and it is said to be part of the TTC35. I talked to some landowners that were blindsided by that tollway. They are still in shock and mad. That proposed road was not on any maps and you would have difficult time finding it even on the new maps. It is going up that quick.

TXdot will have 50 meetings this summer along the proposed corridor. Stay informed if your in the blue. Attend the meetings, but beware they might scare you. I attended and put my building on hold. TXdot is driven on this project, almost as if it is _____________(the "P" word), but we will not discuss that in this forum. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
