Do you know anyone in your area that will be needing some red oak (easy splitting with maul) or white oak firewood? I'm giving it away free. Just come get it and cut it up. I can load with my grapple or bucket.
I only had one sniff off of Craigslist.

Thanks for the heads up Brandi. We are all set for now, but I will check around. I've still got a number of stacks up on Pinedale as well. (But not that nice and clean/large).
That sure is some good looking wood. I'm surprised the firewood guys aren't getting ready for fall/winter and might be all over that?
Did you try to hit up the guys that are selling firewood? Maybe they will buy it off you or just come grab it... houston for sale "need firewood" - craigslist

There were son guys selling firewood on FM 1097 just west of Lake Conroe with a sign up saying they would take your trees. Might be worth checking them out.
