Recently, Warhammer, who lives in Texas began a thread discussing his water woes, which invited discussion regarding water wells, etc.
As an FYI, go to
TWDB WIID System
here you will find a list of data available... for water well drillers logs, click on #2, Submitted drillers reports. Play with the maps until you find your county/area of interest. This is not very intuitive but you will see wells with tracking numbers. Using the menu on the left side of the page, click on the appropriate box and draw a red box around the well of interest. This will provide, at the bottom of the page, limited well information with the tracking number in blue. Click on this number and another screen will pop up providing you with name of owner, date well drilled, coordinates and pertinent information about the well, i.e. depth, casing, production rates, etc.
