I want to say thank you to all Armed Service Veterans, including Police and Fire, and First Responders including Search and Rescue. Without your service I would not be enjoying the freedom and security I have today. Thank you for your service and God Bless

Yes, sometimes. Not to argue but. My FIL served in Korea. When he returned from combat he attended medical school on the GI Bill. That school is where he met his wife, a nursing student. He became a doctor which served him, his family, and countless others well.

Those good things do happen, but now we have homeless Veterans, Veterans who get lousy health care, and veteran suicide that is out of control.
I coached for years with a veteran with devastating war injuries and despite he and his wife trying for years, he could never get proper treatment.
