I mainly lurk here as I have little to add to the expertise. But I had to say thanks to all for two things.
First was when I ran across the thread about low fluid levels in the front axles of BX24's. I went out and sure enough mine was low. Not a lot of hours so I don't think any damage was done.

Second were the threads on the upgraded seats for BX24's. I was at my dealer last night to get a new tail light lens (don't ask) and I asked about the seats. The parts man went and talked to one of the owners and next thing I knew I was walking out with a new seat for free. My tractor is over two years old.

If it weren't for this site I wouldn't have known about either issue. Now if I can just figure out how to keep the shroud below the steering wheel on. Mine just doesn't seem to fit right. I ordered a new one last night as the fingers are breaking on the old one.

Thanks again

The new one should fit much better! The part was revised about a year ago.

You needed to read on TBN to check the fluids in your machine? Let me give you a hint then-go check your car's oil also;)

Easy to overlook axle grease, but a reminder to check 'em all..

Welcome to the site!

What? Where do you check oil in a car? (I did see the smiley face)

But, I would ask how many people check the fluid level in a manual transmission on a brand new car. There are some levels you would normally expect to be done by the factory or dealer. It is a good wake up call to not take things for granted. It is great use the collective wisdom here and try not to duplicate other lessons learned.
