Farmtrac 300DTC
Well folks, I just wanted to show yall my appreciation for the information that I have recieved from this site. Ive spent several weeks reading through a lot of the posts on here about the different brands and have finally decided on the FarmTrac 300DTC. Since it appears that it is the same as the Montana, i figured id post this here. This will be my first to own, but not to operate, so I was pretty concerned about getting a good one, I think i found it.

Ttl price of tractor and FEL is 14500, prepaid. I have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery, but I really didnt want to get out in the 40 degree weather to use it anyhow. I know, you boys up north have it a lot harder. My brushhog and box blade are galvanized and will add about 1700-1800 to the price, but I think im doing pretty good overall.

Anyway, thanks again.

Ill try to get you some photos as soon as I take delivery. I was initially told about two weeks, but today I was informed that it would probably be next week sometime. Unfortunatly, ill be going to work tuesday for a week, so I wont be able to put it to use right away. When I get back in, ill take some pics, and post them if I can figure out how.

Thanks

Well, you may be right about that. But right now when I am out at work for a week, I am more or less at natures mercy, so I dont have much choice about being out in the cold. So I tend to stay in where its warm now that hunting season is over. When I get back from my next hitch Ill be picking it up and heading to Louisiana to work over a road that we have to use to get to our house over there. I figure that it will take 3 or 4 days, so I will be getting some good seat time soon.
