Thank ya, been one long, hard year it has, but we're just about finished.

Problem is with taking pictures, I haven't quite figured out how to rig a remote control for the camera to follow me around as I tear up Mother Earth. My wife is usually too busy shaking her head as I grin from ear to ear to take any shots, but I'll keep working on her.

Did finally get her up on the Kubota last weekend to move a few stumps around...she was diggin' the FEL by the time she was done. She's almost hooked. And in all fairness, she IS the one that told me "Just buy a new one instead of trying to repair the '57 Ford" - God rest her soul (moment of silence, please)

I re-read my post...that was VERY good. On your part, that is. The FBI might be watchin' me for awhile now.

For all you guys who mentioned that the BX does a great job and you, to paraphrase, haven't even maxed it out yet, be careful not to run the machine too hard for the break-in period as you want all those new parts to seat properly and last a long time. Usually, that means not being too hard on it, not running it too fast for about the first 50 hours of use (may vary by MFG). Just in case you didn't see that part in your owner's manual. It will make for a better life of your tractor. John

Congratulations to you all ! You're right about the amount of things you can get done with a tractor . Simply amazing .
Kioti John makes a good point about breaking it it right ,and not pushing it to hard while new . I'm at 49 hrs on mine . and when I tend to push the machine ,or get in a rush to do a chore ,I force myself to remember what it would be like to do the same task without the machine . That makes me slow down a bit and enjoy the whole process . Today's chore was to remove some Larch trees (2-6" in diameter and move them to the burn pile . Took an hour or so at 1800 rpms . I'd still be fightng the first one without the tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Again , Coingratulations on your machines ! John

Well, I have five hours and counting. I GOT it delivered on Friday and already have HAD to use the loader and cut the grass. I think that it will cut my cutting time by more than half.

When my wife got home and saw it. All she said was that it was ORANGE! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I just had to laugh and thought that I would share that with all of you. I will try and find my camera and post some pictures and of course. I will keep everyone posted. My sister-and-law already has some planes for me to bring it over and smooth out her yard. She has just had a new house built and the builders left the yard and road (driveway) in a mess.

Make sure you act like your being dragged into it ! You never want any one to know you're having fun on your machine .
If you smile , even one time , you're done for . Also keep in mind you're protecting a very sacred and dark secret of the brotherhood of TBN . " tractors are for work !! " /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif John
