I, too, have visions of transforming my land into something beautiful. My biggest regret it that my children are grown up and they cannot share this experience with me. Those of you with young chilren are fortunate, and the kids are even more fortunate. Involve them in all the outdoor projects. It will develop skills in them, character, and a love of the outdoors. When they are grown, they will look at the land and remember how they participated in the act of creation with their parents. Doesn't happen in the city.

Thanks for the kind words! I've learned so much also from this board and its two predecessors, I hung around and read a lot before ever entering into discussions.
