Congratulations on the new ride Stonefox, and welcome to TBN.

I'm sure you will like the TC40D, it was what I was getting but the Deere dealer made me an offer I couldn't turn down /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't blame you about saving the $$$ and ordering out of state, it's worth it at the cost.

Post some pic's soon.

Stonefox I'm speaking from first hand experience when I tell you that you got a fine tractor. I'm hoping that since your dealer is so far away that you also got the shop manuals for your TC-40D, they will come in handy as you do the maintenance. Please don't forget to post some pictures once it arrives, everyone loves to see them. And most of all, welcome to the TBN site.

Rich, this would have been the perfect opportunity to either obtain or borrow the operators manuals from the dealer to ease the pain of wait methinks.

I thing Doug has an excellent idea. Get familiar with the controls even before the tractor arrives.

Mike:

You should have put some tire dressing on your tire before you shot your signature picture. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

PineRidge, That is a excellent idea. Would anyone know where I could download a owners manual for free? It certainly would make for more interesting reading than the sales brochure which I think I've memorized by now.

Mike, Thanks for the offer but I already have that one. Down loaded it when I was looking at Deere. Wish NH had the down loadable manuals. I keep saying patience, patience, patience. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I would ask the dealer. When I bought my Kubota from Carvers, they sent me the manuals pronto. It was actually great to be able to read them ahead of time /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Of course I still had to review them again when the machine arrived as I "learn better" when I can touch it as well. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations and good luck with your new unit.....the wait is gonna darn near kill ya!
