The dash, well, sucks.
Left side icons and colors under lamps have all cooked off, and the sticky tape seems to have darkened and lightened areas - in tape outline. (Even HST and it's peers cooked off.)
So, are we spending the 3 bills for new silver paint to cook off anyway, or DIYing a solution?
The 1500 also has, not a gauge, but a lamp for Low Fuel - a $6 round sticker over the gauge sized lamp.
Anyone changed one - I do not have the old to look at - seems like it would only stick to the perimeter?
Is it self shielding, no sticky elsewhere?
And I am an impatient mechanic. I seem to bloom mild steel pins - so many here and BX23/RCK - getting rusty round bar out of supporting stuff. Today it was the (non-split like the BX23) bar that mounts the rear lift arms and chains, only way to get that weight/length off. How does one remove rusted/aged pins without blooming from hammer?
THX!
