I grew up in Knoxville, home of the Tennessee Volunteers. Wife claims I bought the Kubota just because it's orange. Says there's no way I'd have an Alabama red or Florida blue Tractor.

Just paint the top of the hood flat black and that will quiet it down a good bit. You will appreciate the color though if you paint all your field hand tools in that orange. Saves lots of time looking in the grass for the fence pliers or hammer.

A couple of cans of green, a couple of brown, maybe one of black.
You can have a CAMO tractor in about an hour, leave a few small patches of orange showing through in odd places.
Maybe some yellow, but not too much.

Alternatively, you could just leave it mud caked.

I love the orange color - wish I had an even bigger tractor so it would be even more obvious. Last week I cut myself and I was bleeding orange!

I saw an old Chevrolet Caprice the other day painted John Deere green and yellow with a big yellow deer on the side. Made me feel really good about my orange Kubota. If I see it again, I am going to try to get a picture of it.
