I liked the pic of your bread oven, I guess you could use that for the cone of silence:laughing:

I'll be going back to the old bread oven before it's over with.

Boy, that'd be one heavy cone of silence:laughing:

Thanks for the thread. I just loaded an avatar. It lacks imagination. It's my recent purchase, a 2008 B2620.

Bird, I wouldn't know how to react if you changed your avatar.

Polo, you have stolen away a potential avatar from my pantry of same. Love it.

BTW, I'd love to have one of those little sunbeam tigers that he drove.

Just changed mine, bugger it, needed a change.

this one is me and brother Edd drinkin and burnin:)

I was inspired to change mine today by this thread. The new one is a hat an army buddy had made for me as I retire from my civilian job on January 19th.

I like to change my avatar when the mood strikes me. So, I wonder how you have decided upon yours. Do you keep it the same or change it from time to time?

Here is a history of the ones that I have had and the reasons for them, if any. I'm sure I've forgotten a few too.

Barney Fife. I just think everything to do with Andy Griffith is funny.
Aunt Bea. 'Nuff said. I also like her hats!
Alfred E Newman. Whenever a new President is elected, I will post AEN.
A banana. It was a funny picture of a banana.
BBQ ribs and corn. In tribute to a thread about eating same.
Tater tots. Mmmm, taters.
Woody Allen with a huge celery stick. From Sleeper, hilarious.
Charlie Brown. Well, I'm kind of like him sometimes. Same hair.
Peanuts gang in the pumpkin patch. My tractor is named the Great Pumpkin.
My dog elmo. I love my dogs.
Crossed Canadian and American flags. A tribute to the two greatest.
A funny movie poster for a zombie movie. Told to change it by the mods.
Bob and Doug Mackenzie. Tribute to the "fear Canadians" thread.
The coneheads from the old SNL. Suggested by another TBN'er.
Jethro Bodine. Another response to a TBN'er.

So, what say you all?

You forgot Alfalfa and Granny. :D

Have not changed mine. I first started posting a couple of weeks before I bought the tractor. The picture is when I first got it home. Seems right.

I have been a member since 2006 and just this week added a photo. It does help jog the memory when reading posts if the poster has a photo.

My Avator is of my dad. I feel i had the bestest dad in the whole world. We worked to gether all my life. He was pretty easy to work with, very even tempered un like me, but im learning slowly! We cut 1000's of cord of wood, raised beef cattle ect. dad loved the woods and cutting wood, the last year or so dad couldn't work in the woods but he could drive a tractor, so he hauled for me. In this picture dad had a small batch of limb wood on a non-dump trailor, he hauled it to the pile dropped the trailor and came back to a waiting load on the dump trailor. He loved that cause he could unload a load so quick and easy. I lost dad in April of 2010 and i really miss him and the times we shared. When i post something i see him and the memories replay. Thats the story of my aviator . . .John
