I can only wish I made it -- !!

That's the next step in life -- custom woodwork --

For now, I got it at Dard Hunter studios in Ohio.

Also, the light switches -- I love them. It's a new build (less than one year old) -- it's a craftsman bungalow, so I went old-school on the switches --

Very nice !!! Looks like quarter sawn white oak with a dark stain and beautiful ray pattern !

Heres a pic of the kitchen table I built last winter, nice ray pattern on the legs also !

A saying by Elbert Hubbard founder of the Roycrofters. Did you get that at the Roycrofter store in East Aurora? They were famous for the quarter sawn oak furniture among other things.
If you have a chance you may want to read Hubbards book "A message to Garcia"

Scott, great looking table, very nice work. I agree that the plaque looks like quarter sawn oak, and it looks like an old piece of oak too. Nice tight grain/rings.

Scott, that's a pretty table, and I don't recall ever seeing what you're calling a "ray pattern" before.
