I'm talking about the best website (even though I might say the same about the products)

Of all the CUT brands' websites, nothing came close to Deere's. Its biggest problem was that it was so easy to get lost, or never be able to find your way back to where you'd been.

Well, its been reworked, and navigation is far better. The compare is improved, with updated competitive models and now, you can compare similar Deere models.

Now, the other guys need to keep up...

Websites are an easy way for little Davids to take on their Goliaths. No one seems up to the challange, though...

The new Kubota site is pretty good, too. Haven't seen the new Deere one yet.

It is a lot better than before. I wish JD would show a real picture of the 990 and not a 790 though.

I agree although I think JD could still improve its website. They're still a little slow to show new products.

I don't know about Kubota but New Holland may have the worst site. Their site still doesn't show the newer TCDA models. The New Holland folks must not have much faith in this crazy thing called the internet.

Whatever was done with the new Kubota site has caused it not to work at all for me. Anyone else having a problem with it?

Are you using a dial-up connection? The site seems to be optimized for broadband connections. I got tired of waiting for each new page to load, but if I waited long enough, they would load. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I agree that the Deere web site is pretty good, but I think the comparison feature leaves a lot to be desired. I've used it before and just gave it a try comparing my New Holland TN75D to a Deere 5540, Kubota M6800 and a New Holland TN75. I don't know the Kubota specs so i won't comment on them, but the errors in the New Holland specs were numerous. The TN75 and TN75D specs didn't even agree even though they are the same base tractor. The Deere site even has the TN made in England, where as it is made in Italy. HP, transmission operation, etc are just plain wrong. I won't bore you with every detail, but if that is what I looked at to make a comparison, the Deere has an unfair advantage due to the incorrect facts presented... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It would be interesting if others did the same excercise for their tractors and see if what I found is just a fluke or is system wide.

Funny you mention it, I did the very same compare, and saw that today.

No its not perfect. Deere even messes up on some of their own models.

You can export to Excel, and make your own corrections. (recommended)

Kubotas HAS gotten a lot prettier. Still a long way to go on useab;e features. Too bad dial up users can't use it.

Let's not talk about NH. Actually Case looks a little better. Those Farmalls sure look NICE!
