I know its not a big name, but cub cadet has a nice site that is quick and lists the MSRP for each model. On the bigger ones, deduct about $1500.00 to $2,000.00 for the street price. I am leaning toward the Cub because it "fits" me best. Everything is where it should be....

And, in my opinion, that's a good reason to buy it. I had a Cub Cadet riding mower before I bought my first Kubota tractor and thought I wanted a Cub Cadet tractor. However, when I sat on the Cub that I was considering it didn't fit me; just was uncomfortable, so I went on to Kubota. I got the impression at the time (whether right or wrong) that the Cub would have been very comfortable for a smaller person.

The same kind of "reasoning" was applied when I bought a small car to pull behind a motorhome. I thought I wanted a Saturn (at the time, it was the only car you could get with an automatic transmission, on which they guaranteed you could just put a tow bar on it and tow it in neutral without damaging the transmission). But when I drove a Saturn, the seat was uncomfortable to me, so I went with an Escort.

Like Bird said, that is a very good reason. In 1999, I looked at the 7000 series and really liked them. Like you said I thought that they fit really well.

Well, that's what we want to hear. Most companies could hire somebodies jr. high age little brother and turn out better web sites than they have, now.

MUST AGREE with u! i find the new kubota site hard to naviagate, hard to compare models , and extremly slow to load. althogh i still use dial up, pages should not take that long to load. thought their ol site was much better.
