Here are some pictures showing the beast bulging its eyeballs. The paws are slipping, but he made it. Looks like a normal root ball. What's the biggest, heaviest thing you pulled?

No Bob, methinks that would count. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I think my grandfather has that beat.

When he was young, my dad came home to the farm after school one day, got off the bus, and the house was gone. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Looked across the field and there was my Grandpa with the little Ferguson (similar to a Ford 8N), front wheels in the air, pulling the house across the field. It was only a little 3 room shack on skids, but still a big pull for a 20-something horsepower tractor.

Why did he do this? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just because he just thought it might be nice to have the house "over there" .....

This is the same grandfather that replaced the engine in that very Ferguson with a Studebaker slant 6 (had to lengthen the tractor) and drove it to town once in a while.

At about 40mph .... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I've owned one Studebaker, driven several others, but never knew they ever had a "slant" 6.
