Thanks for the compliments!

Our cats are apparently content enough that even with the out-house door open like that, they don't try to get out. Never have. Even when they're actually in the out-house.

While it's not something that I would ever do myself, I sure do admire your creativity!!!! It's why TBN is such a great website. You just never know what somebody has done, or will do. That's just a great project. Love it!!!

Thats really cool. I keep meaning to do something like that. I currently walk my kittie before I give her a bath. Only time she gets outside.

So do you give them flea/tick meds now? Thats my biggest concern with something like that. Fleas suck. And paying $10/month/cat to kill them is just as bad. I was thinking I'm gonna build something way up in the air attached to the windows just so they can't get into the fleas.

Ever since they could go out in the cage we've given them that liquid stuff (Frontline? can't recall for sure) that you squirt onto the back of their necks monthly (or quarterly?). And, that's always kept us completely flea-free. Until this summer ... :(

The cats have had this cage setup at least 5 years, & we had never seen a single flea, even here in N Cent FL! ... again until this summer  I dunno what happened, what was different this year, maybe the super-frozen winter (for us) we got had something to do with it, no idea, but we did get 'em. Once we got 'em we started combing them off the cats with a flea comb (works great!) & spraying some citrus-based spray on them - Following that religiously twice-a-day got rid of them completely in about 3 weeks. Not too bad, but I hope we don't now have to go thru that every summer. Even if we do, I'll still let them out in the cage; I couldn't stand to keep them couped up in the house knowing they're dyin' to go outside, & used to it now. :)

Yeah, you're not getting me to pay monthly flea medicine on three cats AND a dog. I'm way too cheap for that. :D
