Definitely. I knew a few guys better than me at debug and chasing problems under pressure, I always shone better when it came to carefully avoiding them in the first place, I was too slow and methodical to really be a rock star when it came to debug under time pressure.True..... but not all engineers are created equally.....
Most problems could be traced back to changes in components or processes, which happened without documentation or notification, or were approved by someone who shouldn't have been allowed to approve of such changes. Occasionally it was a legitimate design error, but that was not as common.
