I build hog traps and have been telling my wife when we move to the property (Friday is the day), I'm going to get a pet feral hog as a mascot. The buying stations have LOTS of little babies that they just feed out so they're easy to come up with. I showed her the long thread on Oscar and she was on board until she saw how big he is now. Then you posted this and it's just hard to be scared of a pig in pastels with bunny ears on it so she's feeling better about the idea. So, thanks for posting the photo, you made my life a little easier.

Thanks. One thing that I think made Oscar a good pet is that u bottle fed him for a week before he would eat cream of corn and pig starter mixed with milk. Friends who have caught them have not had very good luck, but nobody that I know has bottle fed them

I think we need to see a picture of Eddie with bunny ears to really say for sure.

Eddie, my three year old daughter loved the picture. She looked at it for several minutes and asked all sorts of questions.

I was planning to try to get a bottle baby. Having bottle fed other animals in the past, I think you're right, it makes a big difference in how they interact with you.
