BiniBabe can't hide in the Super 8 or any small town for that matter.
There is a 5 MILLION dollar reward on his head. And that information has been put into Afghanistan. This was done prior to 9/11. Think of the problems this make for BiniBabe. 5 Million means he really has to be concerned about his security and not just from US forces. So he has to have a group of body guards. But lots of body guards means he is more visible. More visible means his location can be made known to the US or others. If he does not have lots of body guards then he is vulnerable to locals taking his butt for the 5 Million. That money really keeps him off balance. It forces him to stay in one place which is bad for BiniBabe.. Or he has to move. If he moves with lots of people and often that is bad for BiniBabe. More chance of discovery. Or he has to move or stay put with a few people but that is not good either. If he goes to a city then he is much more likely to be discovered. So what can BiniBabe do?
The POlice have informants that will rat out their mother for chump change. How many people would jump at the chance for 5 million dollars? AND in a country that is full of feuding families, warlords and different ethnic groups. If your family and clan is starving and you have a chance for Millions what are you gonna do if you have a group of guys with rifles? For 5 million dollars there are lots of people who would go for him if they can find him and that aint the US special ops folks. Heck, I KNOW people who I could get togather who would go after someone for 5 million dollars.
I think Bush is absolutely correct about having these people on the run....
The video tapes of BiniBabe and his "troops" that have been shown on TV are not very impressive. They might look good on tv but they stink at what they are doing. If BiniBabe can hit the side of a barn at 50 yards with an AK47 its pure luck. And I'm not that impressed with the other footage either. Just because you pretend you are a SWAT entry team does not make it so....
The Russion occupation has been thrown out as an example of how good the Afghan fighters are but I think its just a better example of the uselessness of the Russian military. Remember they can't contain a small rebellion in Chechnya. The footage of even the Northern Alliance sure shows a lot of Pray and Spray mentality....
Anyway that is a long winded theory on why I don't think BiniBabe is in a city.
I have not heard anymore information about any Special Ops people being taken. I would think that by now if they had them, which is doubtfull, and they were still alive, which is doubtfull, that they would be on TV. Unless there have been orders given to surrender I just don't see Special Ops people getting captured.
Somali has been thrown out as an example that our Special Ops units can be beaten. Well the Rangers had their butt chewed that is for sure. And for that they can thank Clinton and his cronies since they made the incompetent decisions that ordered the Rangers into that battle, as well as the circumstances surrounding it, and without the use of tanks or AFV. Clinton should have been removed from office after he got those people killed. There is a documentary on this on PBS. Watch it if you can. But you had better not if you dont want to get very angry.
But, I digressed as usual. What the talking heads fail to mention because they don't know squat, is that while the Rangers took 18 dead and lots of wounded they KILLED at least 300. The locals said 1,000. I'm sorry but the Rangers kicked A... I don't see much difference between the two countries in question. Also remember that only TWO Medal of Honors have been awarded since Viet Nam. And they were to a two man sniper team who went out to save, and they did, the crew of a downed chopper. They only saved the pilot and both of the team members were killed but they were only killed when they ran out of ammo. They killed dozens. They bugged their CO to go out and save the crew. And they did. Its an crime that men of that kind of Character died because of the stupidity and and lack of character in the White House.
But that is yet another reason why I find it hard to believe that the Taliban would manage to capture any of these guys. They have to know that being taken by the Taliban is going to mean death by torture. That is what they do to their own people. I just don't see these guys being taken alive. If they are injured and unconcious maybe. Otherwise just don't see it.
