Garden hoses and extension cords. Seems like no matter how careful I am, I always tangle either one when I go to spool them out. Oh' yeah, ad air hose to that list.

the fix to all these is to get a (hose real)for your garden hose (cord reals) for your extension cords... and another hose real for your air hoses, You can usually find an old used one someone discarded and thrown out side of the roadway, I have one that holds 300 ft. of air hose, I have it mounted just inside the rear of my work trailer,
Though I do remember the days when having to lase up a 100 ft cord only to have the new guy pull the wrong end and make a mess of things,

I HATE it when the garden hose reel I bought to reel up the hose breaks and you cant get the hose to reel out, Have to cut up the entire thing with grinder to get your hose off the broken reel and then the hose is so kinked that it takes an hour to untangle it.

After I laced up my boots and headed outside I realized here was a small piece of dog food that slid down into the toe of the boot and is now rubbing my foot the wrong way. I hate, or at least strongly dislike that.

Speaking of boot laces... I hate when they break- always at the most inconvenient of times.

Its not left over hardware! Its profit! Less nuts bolts and screws you have to buy for the next job!

Kinda makes one wonder if he missed sumthing thou.

That is only a problem if you took the item apart, put it back together and still have parts left over. At this point they become 'pocket parts' which is where you quietly slip them into your pocket before anyone else notices you have left over parts ;)

That's funny! I'm sure some of us have done that before! :)

I hate it when you get dressed up to out in the weather, you know the single digit kind with a wind chill below zero)and you just get your boots good and snowy. When all of a sudden something hits you, those tacos you ate for lunch, now want back out, and they are in a big hurry. Should be an Olympic sport, speed undressing. Then catching heck from the boss about tracking snow through the house.

I have the motor out of my space heater that will only run if I leave the spring out on the end of the shaft... trying to find the proper name reminds me of why I hate search engines that keep sending you to other search engines... until next thing you know you're back at your POB.

Hate that too. The reality is they had no intention of sending you anywhere useful, just on to the next page of ads. :)

Stayed up too late watching football and was rudely awakened to be called into work this morning at 4:30 AM for an easy problem. I dislike that.

Crawled back in bed shortly after 6:00 and went back to sleep. 6:50 AM, phone rings again to call me back into work for another problem. I really DISLIKE that.

Back home now and my wife is making me some eggs and coffee. I like that.

Milkman--good post.

Add to the hate/dislike list getting snow in your boots in sufficient quantity to soak your socks.

The 2 horned toilet seat that as soon as you get settled slips suddenly to the side. I HATE THAT!

Or going into a public bathroom under said taco emergency mentioned above. To find that the person that visited previously stepped inside the stall, locked the door backed up to the door and like it was an Olympic sport peed on the seat back of the toilet and the floor. I HATE THAT!
