That is awesome news. Its great to hear good news for a change. So much of what we hear is negative nowadays....
I have not heard of such a program before.
Kinda in a related manner though a bit cheaper....
My eldest daugter was in the hospital a month or so ago. Long story short is that we thought she had appendicitis so off she went to get checked out. Turned out to be a false alarm. There is a local organization that makes blankets for the kids who have to stay in the hospital. They are bright and cheerful blankets that help the kids out a little. I was really touched that a group of people had this idea and then got togather to finance and make these blankets.
My daughter has the blanket on her bed....

Man, that would be a God sent around here. My wife had spinal implants installed and our insurance bounced the whole thing without any warning. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Had been good insurance for twenty years, but has gone down hill lately. But again, good for you. I have never heard of anything like that happening.

Just got back in off the road and read about your good fortune. Sounds like you are lucky to have a hospital with a real heart. I hope the cancer is gone for good. Hope the rest of your life goes as well.

Being a cancer survivor myself I know how you feel. It is great news to hear, "I think we got it all". It's been almost twenty years now for me. So you have two good news'es. Great. By your post I know you are touched that someone came in and finished off your bill. It has to be a great feeling. My prayers will be for continued good health. And to re-pay in another form is even greater.
