I don't disagree with you, but focusing on political individuals just invites defensive arguing as opposed to actual problem solving. The ultimate solution lies where Chris has identified - getting huge corporate donations out of politics so voters can be heard.
Personally I think we should lock every one of them up in a room, throw away the key, and start over. But that's just one man's opinion.
My wife and I went to the doctor's office today, same issues. Saw the doctor at the same time, same diagnosis, and same perscription. Went to pick it up at the pharmacy and my cost was $80, her's was $20. Same insurance company, same everything, but BIG difference in drug costs.

Umm, I always thought both of us were on my policy as a family, but your question made me go look. Both of us have been on my employer's policy for a long time, but we are both now on Medicare and the Humana Rx card we have mentions Medicare, so I guess we're actually on separate policies. She has had some expensive medications earlier, so I guess that's the answer.
