We recently purchased a small tractor with a backhoe. The primary reasons for adding more debt to our world are the repair maintenance of our unbelievably steep, rocky, slipery, gravel driveway. While researching online tips for fixing our drive, we came across this forum. Just browsing through various comments has already been very helpful. We own 4 acres on the side of a "toes of the Ozarks" mountain near Lake Tenkiller in northeastern Oklahoma. We look forward to advice and tips from everyone here.

Here is your first piece of advice/tip.
Buy a BIGGER tractor (with, or without, a backhoe)!
Keep your SMALL tractor with backhoe.
2 tractors are ALWAYS better than one!
Advice given is only partly,.... "tongue in cheek".
What sort of implements do you currently have?

Welcome... many knowledgeable and helpful members here...

One of the things I like is safety is a part of most discussions... no sense not being safe and steep terrain requires extra caution...

I think you will be amazed at the jobs you tackle once you have a TLB

My little Kubota BX23 has been a real work horse and back saver...

I think a picture or two of the driveway situation would be very helpful. When I try to envision - unbelievably steep, rocky, slippery and gravel - my mind tends to wander to places I might avoid. Show us what you are having to deal with.
