Excellent pictures of snow. Sounds like I am not the only one who logged some quality snow hours today. I have to start collecting data on mirrors to save my neck!
We have a yard of snow. At 5 a.m. started plowing with the CK20 FEL and blade. Got the missus off to work at 7:30 and headed down to the second of five homes I had to do today. Normally our neighbors head out and travel but for different circumstances, this year all are still here in the north so that takes being a good neighbor to an all new level. I will say that any time I spend doing driveways is repaid many times over with everything from baked goods to helping out with the kids, etc.
Smelled something, hopped off the 2006 CK20 with 156 hours on it and saw the cooling unit for hydraulic fluid in front of the radiator sprung a leak and it was all over the engine compartment, alternator, everywhere. I think it sucked through the radiator and the fan blew it all over. So much for a warm cab.
Had to go get Dad's (he is in FL for a few weeks) JD990. The snow was drifted so high in front of the door of the barn I had to fight to get out. Finally, after 30 minutes I had a 15 by 15 area to manuver in. From 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. I had two hours off to heat up and the rest on the tractor pushing snow. Long day and cold.
Tri-County of Chaffee, NY is getting me a new unit for the Kioti under warranty. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can get back into a heated unit.
Tomorrow I will get a few photographs.
