The Last LA181

After quite an adventure trying to find one, I'm now convinced that I own the last LA181 loader.

Had to piece it together from parts. The loader itself (no mounting brackets or valve) is being shipped cross country. The valve was actually in stock at my local dealer but the mounting brackets had to be ordered from Kubota. With any luck the upfitting should be complete by next weekend. Then, I'll be ready for a grass seeding operation and a vegetable garden in a few weeks.

I'm kicking myself for not buying the dang loader with the tractor in the first place...

Ain't it the truth. Loaders are so danged useful, they should almost be standard equipment. They expand the usefulness of a tractor by at least 40%. I debated going no-loader on my most recent tractor buy, but prior experience won out and I'm danged glad it did. Nothing like having the tool you need hanging on the front of the tractor when you need it. Would rather have a smaller tractor with a loader, than a larger tractor without.

Glad to hear you managed to piece one together. You'll wonder how you ever got by without it.

I have a LA181 Kubota loader, I have replaced most of the hoses, and "O" rings on the Control Valve Assy. The Hydraulics for the 3-point Hitch,and the raising of the mower works fine, until connect the BX1500 tractor to the LA181 Loader. All hose connections a tight, and there are not any leaks at any of the hose connections. I have not been able to locate a good diagram on the correct Hose Placement on the loader

If when you remove the control valve Assy. From the loader to replace the "O" Rings, does the hydraulic system need to be purged of air?
