You and I are in vehement agreement on this one. I think the same should be true for those that choose not to wear seatbelts. Even if the other guy was at fault, 'chosing' to not wear the seatbelt or helmet should eliminate the ability to collect any liability awards other than actual out of pocket expenses.

These 'choices' cost my pocketbook in higher insurance premiums, medical expenses, welfare costs, etc.

Being that a person is entitled to all the afore mentioned benefits if they are shot while dealing drugs on a street corner I think it would be nice to extend them to a motorcyclist going about his lawful business.
