Hay Dude, looks like there is now a 20K reward for info leading to the arrest of the escaped prisoner that is around your area. Time to start hunting. LOL
Might help!!!
I’m getting tired of it. So much sensationalism. Half the town closed.

Yes, but look at all the self important boys running around in camo with all sorts of garbage gadgets. That your hard earned tax dollars paid for . Twice actually.

Problem is now - are you gonna have trigger happy locals running thru the woods shooting at everything that moves...like another hunter. Be careful out there, the escape may not be the biggest danger.

The locals are not as dangerous as the "professionals"

I’ve been talking for days with my buddies about getting him, but now he’s supposedly trapped in Longwood Gardens (our famous botanical gardens) and surrounded by perimeters of police & US Marshalls.
There IS a 20K reward, but I’d be afraid the cops might shoot me.

Yep, that’s the guy. Still on the lamb. I bet I’ve been very, very close to this guy. Middle of this week, I think he was in the Brandywine while I was mowing hay right next to the river.

Today was another good day, but got cut short by some heavy, short downpours at about 5PM. Today I baled the hill across the road from historic Ring Farm. Very steep ground. It was grazed by Brown Swiss for about 100 years, or baled with loose hay way back, then small squares until about 2012 when I got there. Definitely a challenge with the large square baler.
You can see where I baled across the valley Wednesday near the barn. Barn was built in the late 1800’s. Railroad berm to the left.

Here’s one of the steeper hillsides I do. It’s a pucker factor of about 8 out of 10. I lock the tandems together on the baler so it won’t slide as much.

Here’s the view of the Krone baler behind me. Think my rear window is a little dirty? LOL

Anxious moments on final pass. I knew I was low on fuel, about 1/4 tank and just wanted to finish ahead of thundershowers. Made a turn downhill, then quickly uphill. I think I sloshed fuel in the tank and grabbed some air. She died with 38,000 pounds pulling me backwards At the top of the hill. I started going backwards down the hill a bit and jammed on the service brakes. Luckily the transmission will go into park with the engine stalled. I had to add about 10 gallons of diesel to get her going again. The 8.3L Cummins has an electric fuel supply pump and running out of fuel is not a big deal.

Walking to get the fuel then standing on the slope to put in the tank must have been fun.

Well now the killer has stolen a van off a local farm and driven it to a town about 20 miles away, so now he’s another towns problem. I really couldn’t take much more “soccer mom drama”. I swear I feel like I should have been alive 100 years ago. I would have been much more comfortable. Whatever happened to having a town meeting, deputizing about a 100 local men and beating the bushes to flush him out….. let me guess……lawyers.

Last night (Monday night) he broke into someone’s house, stole a .22. The owner was able to get several shots (7) off at him, but nothing fatal. They don’t even know if he was hit at all.
