Rained lightly for 9 days here from Helene. We were spared the disaster those suffering folks from NC & TN are now enduring. May the Lord have mercy on them and ease their suffering..

At least the regrowth had slowed down so the rakes didn't have trouble getting it windrowed for you.

Here we go again!

I live in “The Mushroom Capital of the World”. Mushroom growers grow hay in a blend of hay, straw, chicken litter, horse manure, lime and water. They blend it all together to make a soil that mushrooms grow in. In my area, there’s a lot of opportunity to sell hay to the mushroom growers and horse/cattle owners.
I sell about 80% of my hay to mushroom growers and 20% to feed hay buyers.
