The 2x8" strongbacks go between the trusses in 3 runs the length of the building. The 2x4" boards go in that cut out at the end of each truss. The Advantage lifetime warranty 3/4" T&G plywood will get glued and screwed to each truss:

M7, those look like they would make great fenceposts. Mind if I ask what you had to pay for those each?

mkane09

$20 each & they would make good fence posts which is why I am shuttling them up to the house site as quick as I can...they might grow legs if I don't.

Now I'm not to impressed by all my methods of trying to keep it straight but " it is not my House ".

As mentioned earlier I would install two footers for two evenly spaced pilasters also filled with rebar and concrete, another thing I would do is in addition to the first draintile I would add a second draintile pipe about halfway up on the foundation and cover with pea gravel ....believe me NOW is the time..

Your right, and I am not too impressed with block at all. This was my first and last build using it & if I were to do it all over it would be solid poured walls. Anyway, a second drain tile is not a bad idea & very cheap. I am already going to build two possibly 3 interior support walls anchored via footers.

What's a "Bank Barn" ?

If you want to prevent hydraulic pressure from damaging the wall further then back fill it all the way up with river gravel and make sure you have gravel all the way down to your drain when you get about 1 foot from the top use a mud seal fabric and cap it with soil. This way you will not get water building behind the wall.

I got half of the Sub Floor down and 2 of the 3 2x8" Strongbacks in place. I have to say those Strongbacks are a pain in the arse to screw in...lost of twisting and bending.

Dex, I plan on adding a second perimeter drain and backfilling the whole thing with gravel. There will be an 8' porch, so not much water will be able to get down next to that wall anyway, but I ain't taking any chances.
