the mices are comming

Here's another vote for snap traps and water bucket traps. We don't use poison unless we really can't catch one as I worry about my other pets. We have 5 cats and they really help, but in the fall every eary a few mice get into the house and the snap traps are deployed.

I bought one of those 'electronic ultrasonic' mouse repellers this year for the chicken coop. Can't tell if it works though. I have stopped seeing mice, but I can't honestly say there are none there.

So far they are staying out side. But boy are they out in force this year!
Running between my feet, over my feet, and making the dog go all over! Not to mention all the darn holes all over now.

This year is the worst ever, I`m thinking due to SUPER late/wet winter.

Guess I should set some traps in the basement to be safe :D

Once again I have serious issues with poison. Do what ever you wish on your own land but I have a huge abundance of wildlife around me that I don't want to poison. Not to mention killing a few of them even accidentally is a crime.

The bucket traps are great. I just use popcorn and then drown the lot every few days. :)7

I never thought of popcorn; I'll have to try it. ;)

If they're digging up your lawn you've got moles.
It's been a long time since turfgrass, but if memory serves me they are going after grubs in your lawn, which is another potential problem.
