The Morgans switch to Kubota

It is really cheap advertising on Kubota's part. I have watched a few of their videos. He has a very attractive wife that helps him on every project, wonder how many people would watch if she was not in them?

That's one of the two reasons I don't watch his videos:

- Clickbait preview with his wife front and center, then a 15 minute video featuring him for 14:50 of it.

- Use of a selfie-stick. SS should be banned from YT. I despise them. Anyone here walk up to a complete stranger and talk to them 6-12" from their face? Yea exactly. Why TF would you do it in a video? :thumbdown:

Like videos of “How to _____” , where the first 14 minutes is someone talking into the camera about what they’re about to do, and what you might see later. This is followed by 5 minutes of them driving to the site taken by 5 different camera shots showing them coming and going. Which is actually 1 or 2 cameras. They must stop, go back and get the camera, then go ahead to set them up farther down the trail, then go back again to drive the tractor in front of it. Repeat.
It must take them 35 minutes to go 5 minutes down the trail.

Only after 19 minutes of them blabbering and getting to the site, do you see 3 minutes of them doing something, which then makes you say: “Why are they doing that the stupid way?”

Not every YouTube vid is this way, just most of them. It’s almost like they need to just fill air time.

There are huge incentives for making a YT video over 10 minutes long. It allows more adds & ranks higher via the YT algorithms. So you get s lot of crap filler material in lots of videos to make those artificial marks.

Add revenue from YT isn't that great. To get that high level of income requires external sponsors. I have much more respect & trust for YT content producers that don't permit corporate sponsors. Sponsor money always skews honest reviews.

Morgans are definitely in it for the money. I have no problem with that. I have watched short segments of a couple of their videos. Too much advertising going on for me.

As to Tubers making money. Muhammad makes money off this site. If he didn't, it would go off the air. He doesn't keep this going because he likes us.

That is the thing about money. Everyone likes to make some, but a lot of people do not think anyone else should.

Yeah I agree. First time I saw her I knew why she was there. Great marketing tool though, ya gotta give him credit for that.

People who have these youtube video deals can do pretty good. Depends on how many subscribers and hits they get. I would not be surprised to hear they are ringing up $60,000+ per year, plus as another poster noted, they get sweetheart deals on the equipment they use and feature in the videos.

Guys like the theTFL truck testing dudes with all the videos they produce could be upwards of $1,000,000 in income.

A couple of their vids and the Ike and I was finished with them. Booooring.
