Matthew is making exactly the point I expressed as a concern as well. The 2520, although a fine machine that is really well made and nice in many ways, STILL has some design and option flaws that make it not as much of a deal as the 3000's. As someone who was wanting a 4115 two years ago, I can say although the 2520 marks an upgrade over that machine, it is not a smaller 3000 series. For the life of me, I cannot figure why JD does not go ahead and offer some of the bigger tractor features in this package. Three ranges (perhap one as a creeper range), a little better hydraulic flow, open platform operator station and better attachment compatability for concommitant use and tilt steering/true scissor style or air ride seat option to name a few. If you want these features and are willing to pay a couple thousand more and lose a little manuverability, you get a 3120, but to me that should not be so.
