I changed my cdi and have had no warranty issues. I have the Yamaha 4 year yes warranty.
I've done quite a few other modifications and I think of them as making a good system better..

Thanks for the come back and I'm sure we will be keying in together in the real near future. I'll be sending for one in the AM. Hopefully it isn't above the ole geezers head to install even though I'm quite mechanically incline.
