That is on my to do list. Thanks,Nice set up you have..Coobie - better think about getting a front grill guard and doing something like this. Sticks, stobs & limbs have a nasty habit of finding your grill, radiator or battery.

Just called my Kioti dealer(Michigan Iron & equipment) who is doing the install on my 3rd function he is going to install heavy duty steel mesh on my grill guard.Under cover brush/woods is a blessing and a pain is the butt at the same time.I know - for sure - my grill guard has saved me from some kind of damage at least two times. Big 'ol sticks stuck in the expanded metal.
Some times I envy you guys. All that "undercover" on your property. I have 80 acres and its either fields of bunch grass or stands of ancient Ponderosa pines. Very little undercover and ONLY Ponderosa pines. But I do have my five acre lake.

My Mid States Attachments grapple also has a solid back. One nice thing about the MTL RK model grapples is they have a solid back to prevent such intrusions. It can also be used as a grader blade.![]()
Close to 2761 lbs.I have loaded tires plus wheel weights for lifting capacity.
I have that covered with a 1000 lbs rear ballast weight off my 3 point.Good luck with the new grapple. Mine is currently at a local Yellow Freight terminal and should be delivered Monday. Its been a long wait from EA.
You mention loaded tires and wheel weights but its my understanding that real, behind the rear axle, ballast is needed to relieve some of that loaded grapple weight off the front axle. In your case it could be a pretty sizable load on that axle.
