The Old Mill Pond of yesteryear...

A long, long time ago.... the Old Mill Pond General Store was a local gathering
place. A place people would gather and watch the huge water wheel slowly
turn, powered easily by the flowing water. The Mill Pond was a popular fishin’
hole. Fish stories were many and seemed to grow larger as each year passed
(the stories that is). A friendly place to enjoy a cold one and listen to the sound
of rushing water.....

On the weekends Billy Ray would entertain with his guitar. His all time favorite
was “Home, home on the range, where the deere (tractor innuendo) and the an-
telope play.” There’s Billy Ray now, tunin’up...

Now if you look close you’ll see old Roy. He’s been pannin’ for gold for
years and years. He’s makin’ his way through the rocks on the way to
the upper falls...
