I don't know if you have filled tires or not but if you don't, fill them asap. I filled mine with -20 windshield washer fluid but you may need better freeze protection because of your location. I put 32 gallons in each tire which added about 500 lbs to the back. It puts the weight right on the ground where it belongs. I would also recommend a ballast box if you plan on using the FEL to lift anything. Just that little extra weight, in the back, may have made a difference in keeping you from going over. I have a JD4310 with a 48 backhoe and lifted the back off the ground pulling a stump out of the ground. I filled the tires the next day. You can get adapters at Gemplers. This just one type and they have more.

Wow! That was a close one. ROPS! ROPS! I know Kubota offers them very cheap for tractors that didn't come with them. Also... wear that seat belt!! I never get on one without first putting on the seat belt. It should be just like driving a car... put on the belt, then go!

I'm really glad to hear that the tractor is ok but, more happy to hear that you sustained no permanent damage. Please do get the ROPS and, SEATBELT, SEATBELT, SEATBELT...

Although not into a fire pit, I rolled mine with less than 100 hours on it (maybe less than 50, can't remember). Unbelievable how fast it can all go bad! That was enough to get me to try to follow; Seatbelt, attachment position check, start, in-gear, "parking" break off,....

WOW, that certainly was a close call, the fire made this calamity even more acute, glad to see that you recovered from this and are taking steps to avoid similar incidents in the future.
