The only way to hitch up.

It displays on my 8" nav screen automatically when you select reverse.

Chris

I've got the same thing on my F-350, definitely saves time. Wish I had another camera for the gooseneck.....:muttering:

The backup cam on my SUV is above the license plate looking down, and gives a wonderful birds eye view of the hitch ball. I love it compared to the old ways I used to hitch up. The display is a small 4" screen embedded in the rear view mirror (when not in reverse, the screen is invisible behind the mirror glass). Once you get used to it, you can use all three mirrors and the screen simultaneously to thread a needle in reverse. I can back down my entire 600' driveway (with curves) without turning my head.

That would require keeping the rear of my truck clean.

Ba-Humbug. I have been using an angled mirror for years before the new fangled back up cameras were installed. Cheaper and dependable. And if I get in a jam I can signal morse code with the mirror to the Indians on the other mountain...

That's darn neat!
I had used a wireless cam until the integrated battery ran dead (wouldn't recharge) and it was going to cost $200 to replace.

I have owned 12 plus Fords and all were gteat trucks. In 09 I was just board with them so I gave this Nissan Titan a try. It was a leftover 08. I am constantly amazed by this truck. It is more truck than my 03 3/4 ton Dodge and old 97 1 ton GMC, both gas.

80,000 miles and one small repair for a axle seal. Cost about $40. Not even a light bulb yet.

I still have my 06 F350 Diesel for the big jobs.

The backup cameras today are great, my wife's grand Cherokee has one that makes it possible for even her to hook up to a trailer. Lol. I believe I read somewhere that the new Rams also have a camera in the third brake light to help with hooking up a gooseneck.

Yep, put cameras on the V417 for the front and rear blind spots.

It switches to the rear camera when I pull the reverse lever.
Backed up to the tilt trailer at an angle, stopped right under the coupler! :D
