Does anyone know if this is about right or may exist?

Just under 7500 pounds to make it trailerable.
Detachable loader with 2500# SAE lift capacity.
Quick tach loader system standard.
Lift hieght of 126" to level bucket.
Self leveling bucket linkage on arched loader arms.
Front axillary hydraulics plumbed and ready.
Hyflo pump for skid steer attachments.
Sloped hood for good loader bucket view.
Fueling at or below waist.
HST with cruse control and 3 ranges, 0to4- 0to8 and 0to18mph
56hp or about that.
Easy access hood and filters.
Good work lighting standard.
Easy off back hoe on built in frame system.
Extendahoe for a 11 to 14 ft digging depth and long reach.
7500# bucket curl force and 4000# boom force.
Full independent 3500# 3pt hitch lift.
3 spool rear hydraulics with hydraulic top link and tilt link.
Hardside cab option.
Full swivel seat without getting off.
Industrial level use design.
Left side steering brakes with right side HST rocker control.
Locking rear differential.
Full working gauges.
Oversized front tires for traction and ground pressures.

I am sure there are other things but this seams to be about perfect?

Remember years ago there was a commercial for Exlax that said, "Exlax says what's normal is what's normal for you?" If this is perfect for you, then it's about perfect. It wouldn't be for me, but then I'm not you. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Owning a tractor is very subjective. What one "needs" may not be what someone else needs, so I don't think there is such a thing as the perfect CUT. Thanks, John

John.

I thought I would get some reactions and maybe some opinions on tractor design but "exlax"?
I guess you never can tell how your words will be taken.
Yes, many will veiw a CUT to be perfect in many different ways. Smaller sizes for many and even larger for some.
Thought I might learn what others think about CUT designs.

7500lbs is big for a compact, I would be tempted to call that a utility tractor. Most people think of <3000lbs when you say compact. Certainly wouldnt want to finish mow around the house with that kid of girth /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You are right about the mowing and I am sure there are other reasons for smaller and lighter. I just think the ratio of pwer to wieght is what I am shooting for in a cut.
Example: 3250# machine with a 1250# loader lift? Not too many of those out there, if any. Maximum possible in the ratio of power to weight.

I do little with mowing yet others do mostly that. I did list a removalble loader for that reason.

I have a 48 HP and learned that the Kubota 56HP is the same weight so I shot for the moon.

The more I read in TBN the more I see how many other uses others focus on. Most often they do speak of the more power the better. I am sure there is a point of too much power for a given weight. Many have looked at L3130 but gpne to the higher HP because the weight is almost the same. Not a bad move in my mind. Unrealistic? Maybe but then flighing used to be considered nuts.

If you don't dream, you hold yourself back?

gray,

I'm guessing that the 7500# that you mention includes the loader and hoe if you are planning to trailer the whole setup? If so, it seems that your weight limit and the physical capabilities may be a bit at odds here. The FEL lift height of 128 inches and capacity of 2500# are probably beyond the size of a CUT. This sounds more like a Utility tractor as someone above mentioned. My Kubota M6800 utility tractor only lifts to about 114 inches and while it lifts over 2500 lb, it isn't spec'd to lift that to full height.

It really sounds like you are asking for a mid-sized skid-steer in a CUT package. As far as I know this machine doesn't exist. You might get close with one of the TLB type machines like the Kubota L48, but it tips the scales at 7750# and is a little short on loader height.

Perfect is a nice idea, but it is only an idea. The setup you are looking for sounds like a nice rig. If you weren't looking for the 3pt stuff, I'd say that you might find perfect looking at the Bobcat TLB's (formerly EarthForce), but with the 3pt requirement that leaves them out.

Good luck in your quest for 'perfect'. Let us know if you find it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

ljh2,

I have an L48 so I know of it's abilities. I also know of the few design options that would mske it tops in performance in the larger CUT class.

Many of the design suggestions are applicable to most sizes of CUT. I may be off base in dreaming about this sort of design but thought it would be interesting to get others input.

Isn't this part of what a forum is for?

with some of the spec u listed think u might be out of the CUT range. 56 hp is more into utility or farm tractor, but it sure sounds like a nice rig to have. good luck in your quest /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif and BTW ther eis no such thing as a PERFECT ANYTHING.
