The reason for the big smile??????????????????????

I just saved a BUNCH of money on my car insurance! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm not doing a commercial, so I won't mention names of companies, but I just got some EXCELLENT news!

Before;

Wifes car insured with one company
My truck insured with another
Farm insured through someone else
Homeowners yet another company

Now;

All with one company. All paid with one payment, every 3 months.

Net result?

A little over $1700 total savings per year!

The agent is an old friend. He kept telling me he could save me a bundle. I thought, "SURE YOU CAN????"

I don't know how this applies to the wonderful world of tractors, other than now I have more coin to SPEND on them. Just had to tell the world! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

most insurance companies do this and save money. I saved about $500 just switching both cars to one business. Never mind home, bike and tractor.

I dislike my insurance agent intensly and the company he represents as well... however, by bundling our cars and homowners together we get a pretty low rate. I make it a point to check every year or so with other companies and ours is still the best for our $$. I wish I was rich. I would spend more for less service just to spite him. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I never made a claim till I got married 10 years ago. Since then, "we've" made 5.....................We've stayed with State Farm all these years cause their rates were very close to the lowest we found, and they've never hassled us on any claim. To me it's worth something to have an agent that supports you and looks out for you.....

I know if you make too many within 2 or 3 years, you are "out". Then welcome to higher rates.

Same here. My truck and the wifes car, and our horse trailer, our home and retirement plan are thru the same insurance company I've been with since I got out of high school.

About once a year I look over other companies prices... so far no one can make a better deal due to the multi-policy discount the insurer is giving me.
