The world of country music has lost a legend. Loretta Lynn, the coal miner's daughter, has died at the age of 90.

I thought Loretta was much prettier in her 60s than in her 30s. If this was the result of plastic surgery, everyone should hire her surgeon.

Yeah, Cabot Cove. Supposedly in downcast Maine yet people had a southern accent and dressed and looked like hipster Californians. I lived in Maine for many years and we used to howl with laughter over that show. If anyone ever showed up with a tennis sweater draped over their shoulders, like in Cabot Cove, we would have sent them packing.

Just listen to the first 60 seconds of this so you can compare to Tom Bosley or the Sheriff on Murder, She Wrote. It's sort of a blend of inland coastal Maine dialects but you can catch my drift. It's also a great 60 second joke that's more of a social observation.
