Doc Holiday has died again.
Val Kilmer who played an epic Doc Holiday in the western Tombstone has died at 65 yrs of age.
Top Gun, The Doors, Heat, and many more classic movies is all we have left.

What a shame. I was the right age to enjoy him in everything from Top Secret and Real Genius onward, but I guess it was playing Iceman in Top Gun that really boosted his popularity.
To me, he'll always be the best Doc Holiday:

That was a great movie, in all aspects. Very well researched, written, acted, and filmed. One of very few westerns, where all the various aspects came together just right. If anything, the second half -- the "hell's coming with me" portion -- could have been longer.
