Kraig, sounds like you're almost at the end of your odyssey. Brings back memories of lasr year. In fact, I may have pinballed back and forth between the same two dealers. No matter which way you go, I think you're gettin a good deal on a great machine.
Which other tractor did you compare?

CK2510 and CK30.

I've been talking to Gerald and he really is a nice guy. Best price was from him, ended up doing a little better than my previously posted price on the CK2610. No CK30s left around anywhere.

Here's my $.02.

I did snow removal without a factory cab for a while, and last year while my Bobcat with heated cab was borrowed out, on my old L3650.

Never again.

I would look at a used Kioti with a cab.

http://www.tractorhouse.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=10121385 is one of the first hits looking.

2012 Kioti CK40, 900 Hours, 4WD, KL401 Loader, Hydrostatic Transmission, 3PT, PTO, 1 Hyd, Cab, Heat, A/C, Snowblower, Balance of Factory Warranty, Very Nice, Like New!

Seems to be a no-brainer for me. If I hadn't thrown out my budget...

This looks to be a DK not a CK. If so, it is in a whole different class than anything the OP has looked at. Some may consider 900hrs a lot. Seems like a good deal for a cab tractor.

I wanted a cab really badly last winter so I made an enclosure this winter. It cost ~$350 for an aluminum roof and 30 mm plastic on 3 sides. I did buy Plexiglas for a windshield and never put it on because with a roof and 3 sides closed it was so much warmer even in the Blizzard of 2016 with snow wiping around it was cozy and dry. Not saying it's comparable to a factory cab, it's not. But it is night and day compared to open station and I no longer feel any need for cab. It's a cheap option that anyone could do.

If I were the OP, I would go as big as I could. The CK2610 sounds decent. But if a larger tractor could be had within budget and was "new" enough for comfort, I'd go that route. When I had my 20hp tractor I wanted more. When I moved to a 45hp I wanted more. I think 90 hp would be about right, if I ever get one, I'll probably want more.

Yes he is a very good guy. Answered all my questions and very patient. I am impressed with the dealership.

FWIW, 900 hours, if maintained properly, isn't all that much for a diesel. Our L3130 came with 1200 hours, and it was just fine in all aspects. No issues with anything, other than too heavy- for us, anyway.

I completely agree with you. Most compacts see ~100hrs per year on average. Yet the diesel engines regardless of brand should all be going 5,000+ hrs if properly maintained. Most are designed for more than that.

Just read through most of the thread again. A few points to clear up.

Yanmar DOES have some other financing options, but the "cash back" promotion outweighed the "financing" promotion. Plus, this dealer had a local bank that was willing to do financing at a lower rate than Yanmar (Agri-Credit) which helped combine good financing, with great cash-back.

Kioti: Very nice tractors for the money, of the tractors I looked at due to local dealer representation, this is the best "new" company out there, in my opinion. The CK2610H is a very good compromise tractor. Good engine, good hydraulics, great lever/pedal layout with the dual fwd/rev accelerator pedals and brake pedal to the left of the accelerators (much like an automobile.) The throttle is limited to not much over a 2000 rpm max which really made it feel handcuffed (maybe an easy remedy but the Kioti dealer pretty much said he couldn't comment LOL!). May seem strange but one of my favorite features was the fuel tank on the back of the machine so you're not slopping diesel all over the hood of your brand new tractor.

As discussed above, I have a local dealer, Perry Power in Loysville. Great sales staff w/ Gerald Nolt; very nice guy, still a little to learn about the ever-changing marketing promotions. Unfortunately, I've heard not-so-good things about their service from folks whose opinions I trust. Went searching another dealer in Halifax, PA. Seemed great on the phone and I talked to the owner and told him I'd be there at 5 on Friday to check out his inventory and nail down a price, but when I got there the only staff they could spare was a kid who couldn't even tell me what they charge to fill the tires. The owner and the other sales person I spoke with had already left for the day. Too bad, they gave me a good price and seemed great on the phone. I won't go back though. Called Gerald with Perry Power on Saturday morning, and he emailed me the best price yet on a CK2610H @ $17,600 with 1.9% for 84 months. They had already sold the CK2610H that I had tested out but assured me they could get another one in short order. Still doing some comparing though, so I thanked him and told him I'd be in touch.

So, 3rd closest Kioti dealership in Shippensburg, PA, Nolt's Power Equipment, is only about 30 minutes away from my 25 acres. They've been in business far longer than Perry Power, and, as it turns out, is the parent company of Perry Power. When I got there I was quickly greeted by salesman Ken Yoder who was able to answer every question I threw at him, equipment and promotion-related. He had the keys to the tractors and was happy to let me hop on and drive anything I wanted to. I finally got to run a 2610 back to back with a 3510. Welp, that made up my mind. As I touched on above, the 2610 is a good tractor, maybe even very good, but side-by-side with the 3510, it's really not a fair comparison. SMOOOOTH is the best word for the 3510. Effortless power, quick FEL, excellent throttle and accelerator response, same power at lower RPMs allowing it to operate more quietly as well. The 3510 is worth the $3,000 or so more, but quickly out of my price range at that point. After having made this comparison, I feel the Yanmar EX3200 is 95% of the tractor the Kioti CK3510H is, so that's where my money is going.

Warning: If your budget only allows for Chevy, don't test-drive a Cadillac ;)

If I were buying 6 months from now, and there were no more new EX3200s to be had, I'd scrounge and save the extra $3,000 or so and opt for the bigger engined Kioti. Very, very good way to spend $20,000.

In the meantime though, here is my non-DPF, 32 hp Yanmar EX3200.....awaiting delivery :D
