So - bunyip - I can see your avatar is NOT a "large mythical beast from Australian Aboriginal lore" - who is that fellow?

Sigmund Freud, I thought the inner emerging head would be a giveaway.

Wow - my guess would have been correct. I went to the Freud web site but no pictures of him at an older age. But you are correct - the inner emerging head. It was going to be either Freud or Linus Pauling. I mean, really, nobody considers - Alfred E Newman as their mentor.

There's really no interesting story behind my avatar. I just selected one of
four pictures that I had taken of a bear wandering around the yard about 20
feet away from our back deck, to see if it would result in any comments.
It didn't!

My late father and two of his friends started Wildlife Habitat Federation back in 2004. I became their first web master and had to create several graphics. One of which is now my Avatar.
