Is almost unbearable..Hoping to take delivery by the weekend. waiting on mower deck, loader, extra set of wheels and turf tires. gave my Cub 2072 to my 82 yr old father friday. He has been waxing it, put his 112Jd seat and seat springs on it yesterday, he is having a grand ol`time.. I might have to get him to mow some of my grass, if the 2210 accessories do not show up by Friday....

The wait is on......Never thought I would ever be able to afford a JD..........I cant wait..Whooohoo!!!!

They give me the extra wheels, tires and counter weight bucket at dealer cost also..Because he doesn`t want the Ag -type tires back. Now I will have 2 sets of wheels and tires..Awsome..

Sorry for the rambling, I feel like a little kid waiting for Xmas.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm right there with you.

I signed my purchase order April 17th and have been chomping at the bit ever since /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif My dealer found my tractor quickly (and close by) and had it at the dealership within a couple days.
The first time I called to check status he was waiting for the goodies I added to be delivered and installed. Cool /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
The last call to check status, the tractor was (is) ready and he is just waiting for the cutter.
I'm calling tomorrow and hopefully the cutter will be ready and I can set up the delivery for this Friday.
The worst part of this is I just finished five days in a row off from work! What a great, lost, opportunity to spend time getting to know the tractor! Oh well....
The wait continues and I'm like a little kid with excitement. The up-side is my father will be in town from Vermont this Thursday thru Monday and It will be a great thing to share with him. He'll be as giddy as I am the day it's delivered.

I CAN'T WAIT /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have you gotten any seat time yet, or still raining?

I picked it up with 2.4 hours, it now has 3.6...not much seat time in the RAIN!!!! Wed. is the day off, so I plan to dig and play..err...work in the rain since neither myself or my tractor will not melt. I wound up with a BX23.

Oh I know what you ended up with /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif - I've been reading the "difference of opinion" posts in both forums. Interesting reading... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

LOL....I don't back down often. If JD would have had a backhoe on the 2210, I would have looked closer. We have a 6315 MFWD at the farm and that tradtor is like a Lexus for farm work.

It seems a lot of folks would like a BH on the 2210... I only looked at them briefly... I worked my way up the size scale pretty quick when I told the dealers what I was going to be using it for - he actually suggested the larger chassis (bota too) but I just couldn't justify the $$ difference, and it would't fit in our garage.

I looked at the one you bought as well - real nice unit, just not what I was looking for. I think I'll PM you about my experience with another brand.

I was all set to get a Kubota 1500. That machine would have done everything I needed. But the smaller Kubota dealer didnt want a trade in. The trade in makes for less sales tax and smaller monthly payment for me. The Jd is more tractor than I need, but small enough to do what I need for years to come. I can always borrow the 580 Case with Hoe if I need any major digging work done.

I couldnt see buying a Garden Tractor for 8-9000 bucks, when I could buy a Compact for alittle more and a Yanmar to boot..I have had very good luck with Yanmar equipment in the past plus John Deere parts network and dealers being local around here makes the decision alot easier ...

I know I made the right choice for me..
