How long did this take her? Did she use the stock bucket or do you have the Bro-tek tooth? Great job! I've got a stump (about the same size) I need to get and never realized how big the hole will need to be. Probably a lot longer than I thought also.

She worked on it off and on but I'd guess it took about 6 hours. It was a pine tree so it had shallow but huge roots. I just have a standard bucket. A few of the roots I cut for her with a sawzall to save her from having to shred them with the bucket teeth. I was a big hole. Part of the hole size was caused by learning to use the backhoe I suppose.

The only time my wife ever tried a backhoe was an old 580C that i had..the one with the 4 levers to control (+ 2 foot pedals). she fooled with it for about an hour, and gave up in disgust. Later when i had rented a Kubota track hoe, i asked her if shed like to give it a try, and she refused to even look at it. I didn't let on that it had the easier 2 lever controls. Now i don't have to share the fun:laughing:

She looks real proud of her work and that is nice. But you have screwed up letting her play with your toys.
