The worst use of hydraulics you have ever seen

I was telling my buddy at work that I'm thinking about adding a remote hydraulic valve on my tractor. I had to explain to him what that meant. He thought I was trying to "pimp my tractor" out.

This was the use of hydraulics he was aware of.

I think that this is the worst use of hydraulics I have ever seen

I thought this was just the standard GM test for squeaks and rattles. Here in Michigan most cars will have worse shaking than that on the roads for an ordinary commute.

If the owner of that car did the work himself, and not just spend ill earned money on it, then he probably learned a lot from doing it. If he paid someone to do it, and has to pay someone to maintain and repair it, then it is a total loss of good equipment.
I have been known to build some things just to see if I could (or couldn't) build them.

That particular example is pretty sloppy but while working in San Jose, CA I started to become amused by some of the antics that enthusiasts get from hydraulics, and later came to a grudging admiration of the work involved to do it.

Still, no owner of a truck with a TommyLift could be sure that his lift would work in the morning if his truck was parked on a street at night

He's got to be getting some serious flow from the pump to get that car to jump like that.
