I have a Thermo Pride wood boiler plumbed into central air from the 1970s. My Daddy must have thought it was a great idea at the time when he built the house. I fed that thing wood like it was going out of style when I was a kid. It is built in. I have all the "free" wood I want. So burning wood is a great source of fuel for me. I also just like a cheery fire cracklin' in the wood stove on frosty Carolina morning.

I made a video about it a couple years ago that explains it. Posted it a few places but never got much feedback. Looking for ideas on what to replace it with and how to make it as painless as possible. Hiring this out would cost a fortune. So looking to do as much of the work myself as I can.

Not being able to get a better look, it's hard to give any real advice. Back when I was in the HVAC business, we use to change out old coal converted monsters and up grade to newer systems. Many of those older conversions were a real pain, because most of the duct work had to be replaced and things brought up to current codes. Not something really for a DIY to be able to do themselves. But not being to inspect the entire project, It's difficult to say how difficult this job may be .

Thanks. I'll try to take a better video. To be clear, I don't want to use the central air. I'd rather go old school wood stove.
