Where I have the holes there are radiators behind that make for non fog light fit!:D

There's four separate radiators hiding there somewhere.

Egon,

This is how I fixed my Rad the other night on th 103.
The other driver made an illegal turn off a Series highway. Unfortunately I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Very fortunately no one was hurt!

I am hugging all my relatives and friends this year...

Merry Christmas to all...

Glad everyone was ok. Look at it this way. You now have easy access to the radiator. :)

It could have been worse.

I am surprised to see the pick up truck folded back like that. I can understand the Jeep crumpling because the truck was higher than the bumper and the body just folded up. I have to guess that the people in the Jeep were severely injured. Looks like the people in the Chevy pick up faired much better, since there is no damage to the interior of the passenger compartment.

2 people in Jeep were DOA. The ones in the pick up were only very shaken up. If I remember correctly there were 6 vehicles total in this pile up. Another medium duty truck in front of the P/U and 2 behind the cab over.

The reason the P/U folded like that is because the Jeep's front bumper went under the P/U's and there was another large truck in front of the P/U which prevented it from going forward. Something had to give and it was the P/U's weak point, that being between the bed and body.

Didn't realize that it was a 6 car pile up. I thought that it was two separate accidents.

If you look in the second pic you can see the P/U in the top right of the photo.

That is really sad on the Jeep. On the first one I thought he had an IRS form there. Guess the eyes are fading.

Very tragic.

I needed another 90 000 km (55 000 miles) and I would have completed a million km commuting (18 years) without an accident. Seen lots and helped in a few. I am still going to try to achieve a record (hopefully) of not spending anytime in a hosptial or never experiencing a broken bone!!!! Lots of sore muscles but nothing significant...
